Nestled in the pristine forests of Bench Maji in southwestern Ethiopia, this coffee originates from one of the recognized birthplaces of the legendary Geisha (Gesha) variety. Surrounded by native forests that preserve Ethiopia's rich coffee biodiversity, the Gori area offers ideal growing conditions where Geisha trees mature slowly beneath natural forest canopies, developing remarkable elegance and complexity.

Only fully ripe cherries are selectively hand-picked by local smallholder farmers from the surrounding natural forest before being naturally processed on traditional African raised beds. The slow drying process preserves the cherries' natural sweetness while enhancing the variety's vibrant floral aromatics and refined fruit character.

The cup opens with elegant jasmine florals, layered with notes of citrus, strawberry, and tropical passion fruit. Bright, clean acidity is beautifully balanced by honey-like sweetness, creating a complex, silky cup with a long, refined finish that perfectly expresses the unique terroir of Ethiopia's native forest-grown Geisha.
