Wush Wush Variety

This variety originated from a Wush Wush forest in the Keffa producing area of Ethiopia. Many coffee growers in southwest Ethiopia collect coffee seeds in the Wush Wush forest and plant them on their farms. It is a low-yield and rare variety. This variety has many characteristics and flavors similar to those of geisha. It has a strong fruity and floral aroma and a very high sweetness.

In 1975, a targeted CBD-resistant selection program was conducted in the Wush Wush forest, of which only one selected variety, 754, was approved for release under the CBD-resistant group in 1981. However, in 2006, following a re-evaluation of the 1975 selection, the wush wush variety was officially released under the Local Landrace Development Programme.

Wush Wush 品種

此品種發源來自衣索比亞－Keffa產區的一個Wush Wush 森林裡，很多在衣索比亞西南邊的咖啡種植者，會在wush wush 森林中收集咖啡的種子，並種植於他們的農場，是一種產量低且稀有的品種，這個品種有著許多和藝妓相類似的特徵和風味，具有強烈的果香和花香，甜度非常高。

1975年，在Wush Wush森林中進行了針對性的抗CBD選擇計劃，其中，只有一種選擇品種 754 於 1981 年被批准在 CBD 抗性組下發布。然而，在 2006 年，根據當地地方品種開發計劃，在重新評估了 1975 年的選擇後，wush wush這個品種才正式被發布。
