The latest musician series introduced in Costa Rica in 2022 is the Origin Plan. This plan has been in preparation for 2 years. The attempt is to find more high-quality coffee in Costa Rica, have direct relationships with local farmers, and directly produce traceable coffee. The source of coffee, optimizing its production process, from variety, post-processing process, and participation in competitions to share with more coffee lovers.

 ❤️About Variety Catura

Caturra is a Bourbon variety. Compared with Bourbon, it has better yield and disease resistance, and its trees are shorter and easier to harvest. Suitable for planting at an altitude of 700-1700 meters. Bright acidity and low to medium consistency. With lemon or citrus sourness and mild sweetness.

 ❤️Black honey treatment

Honey processing is a coffee processing method first used in Brazil that involves drying the coffee with a certain amount of pulp remaining on the beans. The outer peel is removed to expose the pulp, allowing the sugars in the flesh to seep into the beans, adding sweetness, flavor and reducing acidity. This drying takes place for several weeks, and when the coffee is sufficiently dry, the pulp and parchment are mechanically removed. During the drying period, it must be turned regularly and placed on raised beds to promote air circulation to prevent mold growth.

 ❤️關於品種卡圖拉

Caturra是波旁變種。比起波旁,產能和抗病力較好,樹株較矮易採收。 適合種植於700-1700公尺的海拔區域。 明亮酸度和低到中等的稠度。帶有檸檬或柑橘酸味、溫和甜味。


 ❤️黑蜜理

蜜處理是一種咖啡加工方法,最早在巴西使用,該方法涉及將咖啡與豆上殘留的一定量果肉一起乾燥。去除外果皮以露出果肉,讓果肉裡的糖滲入豆子中,增加甜度、風味並降低了酸度。如此乾燥數週,待咖啡充分乾燥後,再將果肉和羊皮紙以機械去除。乾燥期間,必須定期翻動,放在高架床上以促進空氣流通,以防止黴菌生長。
