Variety Introduction:

Dega and Wolisho are ancient local landraces. The Dega variety is named after a local tree that, when used as firewood, emits a sweet aroma similar to the aroma of roasted coffee. Dega means "cool plateau" in Amharic, which is also a reflection of the agricultural ecological conditions in which the Dega variety grows and its unique flavor. The Wolisho variety is also a regional landrace named after the tree native to Gedeo and surrounding areas. Wolisho coffee has larger berries and longer leaves.

Dega和Wolisho是當地古老的地方品種（Local Landrace）。 Dega 品種是以當地一種樹木來命名的，這種樹在被用作柴火時會散發出一種甜美的香氣，類似於烘焙咖啡時的香氣。 Dega在阿母哈拉語（Amharic）的意思為「涼爽的高原地區」，這同時也是Dega品種生長的農業生態條件及其獨特風味的影射。Wolisho品種也是一種區域性地方品種，以原生於蓋德奧和周邊地區的樹命名，Wolisho咖啡的果實較大，葉片較長。
